December 2023 Good Cheer Quilts

Thanks to Jill Conger, Jenn Lutes, Maggie Morelos, and whoever else brought items to the December meeting but didn't come back to tell me their names. I'll be sure to bring the book in January!

I'll be taking 10 quilts and 22 pillowcases to Interfaith soon, and Sandy has 13 quilts and an adorable sweater made by Linda Steiner for delivery to Gently Hugged.

In calendar year 2023 North County Quilters donated 156 quilts and 138 pillowcases to Interfaith! We gave a lot to Gently Hugged also but I don't have a firm number on those.

November 2023 Good Cheer Quilts

Many thanks to Dani Donnachie, Romany Bowers and Toni Collins for a pillowcase each, and to Dottie Porst (?) and Alice Johnson for a quilt each. So we had a total of 3 pillowcases and 15 quilts, 2 from guild members and 13 from the Good Cheer ladies.

The first photo was made by Claire Jungersen, a founding member of NCQA, who hasn't been able to come to guild meeting due to knee issues but who does come to our Saturday Good Cheer meetings. 

We also donated 6 quilts and 3 knit hats (thanks Linda Steiner) to Gently Hugged.
