Feb 2023 Good Cheer Quilts

 Another month, another batch of charity quilts. There were 4 quilts from guild members, 7 from the Good Cheer committee, and 7 from Maggie Morales, no longer a guild member. 

This was a good month for pillowcases with 13 from guild members and 10 from Maggie Morales.

January 2023 Good Cheer Quilts

 Apparently we don't accomplish a ton of quilts in the winter. 😑 Must work on that for next year.

This was a group quilt where we each made a handful of blocks, 

then the block designer (me, in this case) puts the quilt together.

These are the self-binding baby blankets, made from a 30" square and a 40" square of flannel.

Nov/Dec 2022 Good Cheer Quilts

We made a few quilts the last 2 months of the year. And that's it for 2022. Hope 2023 is wonderful for all of us. And that we make a lot of quilts!

Grandma's blocks

 A guild member was kind enough to entrust us with her Grandma's hand pieced blocks - 220 of them! We sorted them by color, took piles of blocks home, and came back with 6 beautiful quilts. All the quilts below are made with the exact same blocks, just arranged differently. It was so fun to show them all at once at the guild meeting. 

October 2022 Good Cheer Quilts

 We had an excellent return of pillow case kits this month - 31 total. Makers were Maggie Morales, Jill Conger, Rita McFayden, and the Good Cheer ladies. Those same four were the makers of the 19 quilts that were turned in. Thanks everyone - it's wonderful to see the big pile of things for Interfaith.
