These were only a buck at Wallyworld a moth or so ago.
Sat them on the kitchen window ledge and waited.
They grew.
Quickly. That one stalk grew an inch over night. I swear.
Then they began to bloom.
The bottom-up unfolding of hyacinths is one of my favorite flower tricks
and I spent a lot of time enjoying this one.

All that gorgeousness for only a buck...
