haiku

Back on this post, I mentioned that I was going to add to this spread a haiku I'd written. I finally actually did that and here it is.

Haiku is a very short form of poetry, typically written thusly:

5 syllables
7 syllables
5 syllables

My mother used to write a lot of it when she was young. I played around with them for a while in my twenties but got sidetracked by limericks, which suited my smart-ass personality better.

I just went off to see if I could find any of them, but no luck. Probably just as well...
